  1. The Cadet category is exclusively reserved for members of the CDN-NDG Athletics Club.
  2. Athletes who are members of Athletics Québec are eligible for a $3 discount.
  3. Athletes who stand out through their performances may be selected to represent our athletics team at the 2026 Montréal Games.

5. CONCLUSION

The CDN-NDG Back-to-School Cross-Country on September 27, 2025 was a resounding success, mobilizing 328 participants, including 276 youth aged 6-12, in a spirit of self-improvement, inclusion, and sports enjoyment. Participation exceeded initial projections by 64% (200 participants), demonstrating families’ enthusiasm for this type of accessible and unifying event.

The $2,000 financial support from the Mes Premiers Jeux program was essential to guarantee the event’s free admission and maximize accessibility for all neighborhood families, particularly those experiencing economic vulnerability. The additional contribution from Loisirs Sportifs CDN-NDG ($1,090) enabled us to ensure the event’s quality and safety.

Loisirs Sportifs CDN-NDG warmly thanks the Ministère de l’Éducation and Sports Loisirs de l’île de Montréal (SLIM) for their trust and support, which enable us to fulfill our mission: making sports accessible, inclusive, and meaningful for all youth in our community.
