FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions (Parents)

1. How does the 10% discount for a 7‑week registration work?

The 10 % discount applies when your child is registered for all 7 weeks of the camp. Registration must be completed manually, one week at a time. The discount is calculated and refunded at the end of the summer.

2. Can discounts be combined?

Yes. The 10 % discount for a 7‑week registration can be combined with one other discount only:

  • either the family discount (2 or more children)
  • or the social discount for low‑income families

However, the family discount and the social discount cannot be combined with each other.

3. How can I receive the low‑income family discount?

The 35 % social discount cannot be applied online. Parents must request it directly at the center and provide acceptable proof (e.g., social assistance, notice of assessment, Relevé 1, Employment Insurance).

4. Are registration fees and t‑shirts refundable?

No. The $35 registration fee and the $15 t‑shirts are non‑refundable.

5. What happens if I need to cancel after the camp has started?

Weeks that have already started or been completed are considered used and are charged at the regular rate, without the 10 % discount. Only unused (not yet started) weeks are eligible for a refund.

6. Does my child need to be 5 years old before registering?

Yes. Children must be 5 years old no later than the first day of day camp. No exceptions can be made.

7. Is there a limit to the number of spots per age group?

Yes. Each age group has a maximum capacity. Once that limit is reached, registration for that group is closed.

8. How many children can be registered in total?

The camp has a maximum capacity of 285 children, divided into 7 groups.

Dear parents,

Welcome to the summer day camp guide! Each week, you will receive a detailed schedule of planned activities and outings, so you can prepare your child for each day of camp.

Please ensure that your child brings a lunch, two snacks, and all necessary items for an active and sunny day.

For the safety of all campers, certain foods are prohibited in lunch boxes due to severe allergies.

We promote a respectful and safe environment where every child can thrive and fully enjoy their camp experience.

We invite you to review the full camp guide below for a memorable summer!

Best regards,
The team at the Côte-des-Neiges Sports Center
